Terms & Conditions of Sale
By purchasing from Yuga.uk you (the customer) accept the Terms & Conditions
below, agreeing to read our policies of sale on this page and the Delivery, Returns
and Order Confirmation.
Website/Phone Orders
When you enter our checkout, we will require your email address. We need this
information to tailor the checkout experience, and to assist you should you
experience issues on our website.
When you place an order, we will require your name, e-mail address, contact
telephone number and payment details. Without this information we will not be able
to process your order.
An email confirmation is only a confirmation that we have received your order and/or
payment. It is not an acceptance of your order, and we retain the right to contact you
and issue a full refund in the event of complications with your order.
A contact telephone number is also required so that we may reach you if there is a
problem, or if your order requires a delivery quote. We may, unless you advise us
otherwise, pass this information to our couriers or other agents in case they need to
contact you to arrange the processing or delivery of your order.
Once your order has been dispatched and delivered, the completion of the contract
between Yuga.uk and yourself takes place. We may not be able to fulfill your order
due to the following reasons:
The product you ordered is now out of stock
Your payment has been declined
If there are any problems with your order, you will be contacted by Yuga either by
email or by phone.
We reserve the right to reject any offer of purchase by you at any time.
We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the
details of your order and payment secure but, in the absence of negligence on our
part, we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures
unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the
Website.
Contract Cancellation
Please note that you are entitled to cancel this contract if you so wish, provided you
exercise your right no longer than 14 working days after the day on which you
receive the products. If you wish to exercise your right to cancel this contract prior to
order dispatch, please contact Yuga on info@yuga.uk. If your order has already
been dispatched, please follow the procedure set out in our Returns Policy.
Product Pricing, Descriptions & Images
All prices published are in pounds sterling. Each product purchased is sold subject to
its product description. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details,
descriptions, and prices of products appearing on the Website are correct at the time
when the relevant information was entered onto the system.
Yuga products are all handmade, small imperfections or differences in shape, size
and colour can happen and are part of the uniqueness of a handmade product. The
handmade process is what makes our products unique and should not be seen as a
fault. They will never affect the overall aesthetic of the product and its ability for use
as intended.
All the items sold are handmade using a mix of vintage and current materials and no
two items will be identical.
If there are any visible flaws in these vintage fabrics, they will be photographed but not
necessarily highlighted in the product description. Our fabrics are made from natural products
and may have natural characteristics such as slubs and other irregularities in the
yarns which Is not considered a fault by Yuga.
Wherever possible we have supplied enough images to convey the true colour of
each product as closely as possible. The variations in individual screens may distort
the true colour, and despite our best efforts to portray each item as it is, we cannot
accept any responsibility for these variations. However, if the colour is not suitable,
we will offer a refund provided the item is returned in prefect resalable condition within 14
days of receipt.
Sunlight Damage: Please note that all cushions are likely to fade if left in direct
sunlight for prolonged periods. Double or triple glazed windows can slow the rate of
damage caused by UV light, but we suggest keeping susceptible items away from
direct sunlight.
Delivery
We will aim to dispatch all orders within 48 hours of receipt of your order. Orders are
sent by Royal Mail next day delivery and includes insurance for lost or damaged
items.
For bespoke products that are being made to order there will be a lead time of 4-8
weeks on receipt of fabric from suppliers.
In the incidence that a product has sold in the time you placed your order
we will contact you within 2 days with a refund and call you to discuss any alternative
options. Please be aware that our products are non repeatable.
You will be informed during the checkout process of the shipping charge unless we
are unable to automatically calculate it (for example in the case of deliveries outside the
UK Mainland). If this happens, we will inform you of the cost via e-mail or telephone
and await your approval before we proceed with the order. We reserve the right to
update any shipping charges, although you will be asked to confirm via email or
telephone of any changes that occur before you are billed. If you would like us to calculate
international shipping charges for you prior to ordering, then please e-mail info@yuga.uk.
Overseas Shipping
Delivery of orders to the Channel Islands, Isle of Scilly and Isle Of Man may be liable
for Customs duties in accordance with the Channel Islands import rules, as well as
additional courier and delivery charges Please contact info@yuga.uk for an accurate
quote.
Customers outside of the United Kingdom may also be liable for any import duties
and other local restrictions. All parcels with need to be signed for on delivery.
All postage charges are non-refundable. If any items arrive damaged, please contact
us within 48 hours by email or in writing with evidence of the damage. Items must be
returned in original packing and unused.
Payment
Payment for all orders is at point of sale and not at point of dispatch.
The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus delivery.
All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation
checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card
refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable
for any delay or non-delivery. We reserve the right to withdraw any products from
this Website at any time and/or remove or edit any materials or content on this
Website. We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to
anyone at any time at our discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by
reason of our withdrawing any product from this Website.
To be eligible to purchase products on this Website and lawfully enter into and form
contracts on this Website under English law you must:
Register by providing your real name, phone number, e-mail address,
payment details and other requested information.
Be over 18 years of age.
Stipulate a delivery address in the United Kingdom. Please note that PO
box numbers, hotels and temporary addresses are not acceptable.
Possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us.
We do not accept international payment over the phone or via our Website. You can
