 About Me

Having been lucky enough to grow up in the Orient and travelled extensively, textile foraging became a lifelong habit substantiated by my other passion, sewing. Yuga has been established after four decades in the Interior Textile and Interior Design Industry.

Whilst looking for fabric with an oriental bias for my own home I was really excited to rediscover the intrinsic beauty of Japanese Obi’s.

Having always had the highest regard for the Japanese aesthetic found across their culture, architecture, and design. I am delighted to bring you the finest examples of this design aesthetic found in the textiles so beautifully encapsulated in the Japanese Obi.
